| Parkway Harley-Davidson is located in Swannanoa at I-40 and exit #59 (just a few minutes east of Asheville). We have been a successful franchised dealer since 1987 and continue to grow. | | Gene Lummus began riding motorcycles in 1959. As his interest grew, he started work at a motorcycle shop in 1965 where he learned to paint. Gene continued with this until 1974 when he went into business for himself doing Harley-Davidson repair, paint and custom work.

 In 1986, we started inquiring about a Harley-Davidson franchise and decided to go for it! In January 1987, we moved to Asheville, NC and opened for business in May of that same year. We started out with only 5,000 sq.ft. and throughout the years added on to the original building, growing to 14,000 sq.ft.

 In 2004, we realized we had outgrown our current facilities and began looking for a new location. We purchased eight acres adjoining I-40 at exit #59. We began working with the Harley-Davidson design team, resulting in the creation of our dream - a 48,000 sq.ft. state of the art facility. |
 Our new dealership features a "Party Porch" where our friends and vistors love to hang out. Since opening the doors on March 24th, 2006, we have hosted the North Carolina State H.O.G. Rally (breaking all previous attendance records for North Carolina) and The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America. |
| Because this area can boast of some of the finest motorcycle riding roads in the country, riders from all over the USA visit our dealership when they come to the mountains. We love meeting you and hearing your stories. |
