" We are from Indiana and were going through the mountains on our way to Maggie Valley for vacation and picked up a screw in the front tire of our 2000 Electaglide Classic.. first full day in town , not sure where to go. Got pointed to Parkway
new tire in and out about an hour, even fixed a few small things no charge.. Very happy, pretty much saved our vacation.. will be back next time we're down there"

"I have been to many HD dealerships, from MI to NC, and nowhere else did I find the concern, commraderie, passion and pride as at Gene Lummus HD. Often times you can hardly find assistance with good knowledge, but at GLHD, the owner actually held the bike upright so I could REALLY GET THE FEEL of the bike, feet up, hands on, no nonsense, he wanted me to get the bike that best fit ME, not his sales! "THE ULTIMATE HARLEY EXPERIENCE!!! It is our second time around with Gene Lummus Harley Davidson. We purchased an '07 Electra Glide Standard and a '07 Sportster 1200C. We have been to other dearlerships up and down the east coast, but found that there is no place like home. The entire Lummus Team treats you like family whether you are buying a motorcycle or just stopping by to visit. Our purchase was planned 8 months out and we were hand held the entire time.
Special thanks starting with Carter and Greg in Sales/Financing. Much love to Debbie for handling all the paperwork leaving us only to sign. BIG HUGS and thanks to Darrin in Parts. He was extrememly helpful and SO very patient. Justin, in Service...an excellent mechanic and good friend who shows knowledge and professionalism at all times. "Was looking to cash in a HD Gift Certificate at your store. I did not know they were store specific and that we were at the wrong store (South Carolina). A lovely girl named Aubrey was helping my wife and I sort through your selection of chaps (surprisingly small selection). She was EXTREMELY patient with us while gracing us with her ever pleasant personality. Even after we realized that I could not spend the certificate at her store, she STILL continued to assist us in determining exactly what we were looking for and in what size. She then looked up the item, wrote down the item number so we could accurately request the same thing in the South Carolina store. She deserves more than the few 5 stars we can give in your survey."
